There’s a great deal of magic that happens while students are in the field on an Outward Bound California course. To get students there, we have a strong team of professionals carrying out the behind the scenes work.
Our administrative staff are passionate about our mission and live our Core Values in the work they do to support our programs. Our goal is to employ staff who are representative of the populations with whom we work. We are seeking a diverse group of people who are invested in the growth and development of individuals, groups and communities. Individuals who join our team should have a deep commitment to enhancing diversity, equity and inclusion in experiential education.
Outward Bound California’s regional office is located in the Presidio of San Francisco. Many of our administrative staff work out of this location but we also hire leadership staff for our field locations on this page as well.
We will hire only one of the two following roles. Please review the qualifications for each closely when deciding which position to apply for. If you are applying for the Associate Logistics Manager (ALM) role, you should have, at a minimum, 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory role and 2-3 years of logistics experience. If you do not yet meet these requirements, then we would encourage you to apply for the Head Logistics Coordinator role. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity for growth and professional development within the HLC role for a fast-track promotion to ALM:
Outward Bound California is an equal opportunity employer and works to include diversity among its staff. Outward Bound California values the inclusion and collaboration among employees of diverse backgrounds and experiences. Outward Bound California prohibits discrimination against, and harassment of, any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, gender, pregnancy, genetic information, ethnic or national origin, sexual orientation, marital status, familial status, military or veteran status, qualified individuals with a disability on the basis of the disability, or any other category which may be protected under applicable state or federal law. Outward Bound California also promotes respect for all people, and will not tolerate harassment based on any of these characteristics nor on differences based on gender identity or expression.
As we strive to reflect the communities we serve, people of color are strongly encouraged to apply.
